Here at the City of Cordele we strive to uphold and maintain the highest quality product to our consumers. We flush fire hydrants yearly to ensure the highest quality water is in the distribution system.  This exercise also helps us to check the functionality of our fire hydrants. If you see employees with the Utility Department or Fire Department performing fire hydrant maintenance, you can be assured they are professionals and are doing this for the benefit or our water system and our customers.
