On Saturday, June 20th following the Watermelon Festival Parade, make your way out to Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park for all the sights, sounds, and events of the 77th Annual Watermelon Festival.  Please remember, there is a 10-dollar parking fee for all events that are held inside the park.  Events include: 

• Watermelon Days Arts, Crafts & Food Vendors from 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
• Watermelon Days Entertainment from 10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
• Watermelon Days Car and Truck Display from 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.
• Crisp County 4-H Club Watermelon Slice Giveaway from 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.
• Visit the Watermelon Stand and purchase your own Crisp County Watermelon from 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.
• Junior Watermelon Eating Contest at 11:30 A.M. sponsored by Cordele Lions Club
• Wiener Dog Race at 1:00 P.M. sponsored by Blackshear Veterinary Clinic
• Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest at 2:00 P.M. sponsored by the Georgia Watermelon Association
• "Jen and Tonic" Live at Cypress Grill from 8:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M.
