The 77th Annual Watermelon Festival Parade celebrating the nation's 250th birthday with the theme, "Sweet Land of Liberty", will be held on June 20th.  The line-up will start at 7:30 A.M. at South Gate Shopping Center.  The parade steps off at 8:30 A.M. and will begin at the corner of 6th Street and 15th Avenue and travel east on 15th Avenue ending at Owens Street.  All entries except "Government Agencies" (Sheriff, Police, Fire Department) must submit a fee of $20.00 with their application.  We look forward to everyone participating as we celebrate watermelons and America's 250th birthday.  Parade entry form submittal deadline is June 13th at 4:00 P.M.
